One problem related to door latch has been reported for the 2001 Land Rover Discovery Ii. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My door locks will not open with the remote key leaving exits unavailable for entry by emergency workers in case of a rollover or accident. The left passenger & rear doors stopped working 11/6/03. They finally repaired the passenger door 2/28/04; they couldn't duplicate the rear door. The rear door has opened intermittently since then. 2/24/04 now the right front & passenger doors don't open; they said they couldn't duplicate it and they haven't worked since.
