general problems of the 2001 Land Rover Discovery Ii

Land rover 2001 Discovery Ii. . . I have illumination of hill descent control, abs, traction control dash warning lights. . . Caused by a malfunctioning sensor or modulator. . . Dealers don't even know what it is. Web search shows this to be a common problem with this vehicle, with a very costly expense to repair and dealers are replacing modulators at a $2000 plus cost and the problem doesn't go away! I have loss of traction control, anti-lock brakes still work. . . Don't know about hill descent control. No consequences yet, no repairs yet. . . Hope there will be a recall. . . Can't afford to have vehicle repaired and it's no longer under warranty.
