The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover Lr2. The contact stated noticed an abnormal fuel odor coming from the rear of the vehicle. The contact noticed fuel leaking towards the bottom of the fuel tank. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective fuel tank flange. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 21v635000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 94,800.
