2 Check Engine Light On problem of the 2008 Land Rover LR2

Failure Date: 04/11/2014

On April 11, 2014, a check engine light is on and rmps goes up and down at idle. I went to the dealership and had to pay $340. 00 for diagnostic and software updates that should be free and covered by Land Rover, not by its customers. They use this trick as a high jacking point to squeeze money out of their customers' pockets. I have never experienced any such thing with any other vehicle I have ever owned. This is a summary of charges and codes: 66806 cja 2. 50 use dss tester to diagnose engine light on/ read codes p050b flaged nec to perform ltb00264 ecm update, then perform ltb00094 for stumble update bcm ipk solar sensor replace engine air filter 1 lr005816 filter - air cle 66806 cja 0. 30 install new air filter waiter engine light software updates. Please investigate these software system defects and make Land Rover liable for payment for its own defective software. They should be made responsible and accountable for any defects. I expect to be reimbursed for full payment as a result of this investigation. Thank you! elisabeth astafi.
