Ongoing problem with car not starting because of "steering wheel lock" message. Took to dealership first time and they replaced 2 fobs ($600) and starter ($2700). After 2 months same message came back on and car wouldn't start. I was left stranded in a parking lot at night. Took back to dealership again and they said they needed to replace the body control module ($2640). Now 3 months later same issue (car won't start with steering wheel locked message) and dealership is now saying the steering lock needs to be replaced and in order to do that they have to replace the whole steering column!!! ($2900) I believe they have ripped me off because they failed to tell me all of these things when I first took the vehicle in, since the same message appeared each time I took it in!!! reading the forums this issue has been ongoing since 2016 with this vehicle so why hasn't a recall been issued!!!!???? my vehicle is still not working and I believe Land Rover owe me some money or pay for the 3rd repair!!!!! this is definitely a safety issue because you never know when the vehicle will stop running. Out of no where without any warning, the vehicle will not start and you will be left stranded!!!!!.

The first day I purchased car problems started there was a rattle in the front end and emergency brake did not work. I drove for a short time because dealer told me it was a good reliable car and it shouldnt give me any problems. The rattle got worse tried to talk to dealer but he would not return my calls and he has done the same with other clients. Dealer told me all cars are hand picked and safety inspected. When the rattle got worse I took it to my repair shop they told me it would be around 10 thousand dollars to repair and be safe. The entire suspension was rusted to pieces and had drill out all components. Repair man said the rear wheels could not even be aligned it was rusted to bad. I inquired about rust when purchased but dealer said he didnt know what happened to safety inspected. Dealer refuses to even talk to me about it. I am a cancer patient and car was purchased to have a reliable car for doctor appointments and the dealer new that we discussed it. This dealer is going to get someone killed with his false statements if you read comments to his business many people have had similar issues with him. What will it take someone getting killed with his false advertising.
