1 Tire Bulge problem

Failure Date: 05/17/2006

: the contact stated there were no warning indicators of a problem, but upon inspection, the tread on both rear tires was severely worn. There was not any vibration felt or bulging noted from the tires. The tires only had less than 15,000 miles at the time of the incident. The tires did not go flat, but the steel belts were showing, making the tires unsafe. The vehicle was aligned after installing the new tires, and the dealership informed the contact there was no indication the vehicle was out of alignment or anything that would have caused uneven wear on the tires. The tires had been properly maintained with the proper air pressure and regular rotation. The tires were goodyear wrangler size: 255/60r18.
