Communication error with system. This controls all functions from braking to cameras to suspension and audio/phone. Research shows that this is a habitual issue on almost all Land Rover models with no fix except to replace entire infotainment center which parts only range from 3-6k. Something needed to be done. This is supposed to be a high end vehicle. There are so many blogs with the same issue with no fix.
An airbag malfunction light illuminated on my dash today. I scanned the car for stored faults and found several, but one in particular was for the passenger frontal airbag/seat. The fault code said there was improper serial data values received. The car has just crossed over 50,000 miles within the last month, however it is still within 4 years of purchase. Since the mileage is over 50,000 miles, I was told by dealership there is no warranty left for the airbags. Since this is a major safety feature, I believe this should be repaired at manufacturer's expense. The passenger side door lock also failed at the same time. I have attempted to resolve the issue by opening and closing the door, adjusting the seat position and fastening and unfastening the passenger seat belt but the light still remains on.
