One problem related to automatic transmission torque converter has been reported for the 2002 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Pulled up at traffic lights, on green went to pull away, drive would not engage. Selected neutral then drive to hear loud grinding noise. Selected neutral again and called wrecker to recover. Land rover dealer reported mis-alignment of front differential, causing front diff splines to fail. Repair costs $1,000.
