One problem related to equipment has been reported for the 2004 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Steering column failure, the wheel dropped onto my lap as I was driving. Almost lost control. Very scary, I had to hold wheel up which has full range of un/down motion, while trying to get to the side of the road. There was a failure of the steering wheel tilt mechanism. I disconnected the wheel tilt drive motor and rigged the wheel so it could be driven home.
