Two problems related to power train have been reported for the 2005 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
As I started up from a stop at a light I felt a clunking in the front end. I started to increase speed and attempted to make a sudden turn to avoid an obstacle in the road. The front end froze up.
While driving down city street at 30 mph, a loud humming sound comes from front of vehicle. Immediately brought truck to mechanic and mechanic then stated after inspection that he has seen this problem on Range Rovers before and that it should be covered under safety recall.
