The contact stated that the weather strip fractured and there was a burning plastic odor in which the strip was being damaged by the tires on the rear driver's side. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who replaced the weather strip. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000. Djr.
