One problem related to automatic transmission gear indicator has been reported for the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
There needs to be a firmware update to the transmission shift logic or at the very least if a door is sensed as open automatically place vehicle in park. Backstory. . . . I've owned this vehicle for 2+ years and have mistakenly placed the vehicle in reverse (via the Dodge ram style prndl selector). When this happens I usually catch it before I exit the vehicle. Admittedly it has happened and I've almost been run over by my own car. This is a hugely dangerous issue.
