I have had to have the rear tailgate repaired twice, first time the tailgate would not lift, this was in sept 2024, then the rear lower tailgate would not open it just jammed and the upper tailgate failed after repairin the lower costing me over $2000 in repairs for the 2nd repair. There is clearly an issue with the design when the rear lower tailgate would not open you could not lock the entire vehicle. This is a hazard.
- sunroof channel rear drain tubes corroded/failed, causing water ingress into cabin, filling floor with approximately 2 inches of standing water. - technician found imc and audio amplifier to have damage due to water infiltration. No communication with audio amplifier, satellite digital audio services module within imc is not responding. - corroded sunroof drain channel fittings leading to water intrusion into the vehicle - corrosion and rust in the sunroof opening panel frame water drain. - sunroof water drain tubes have a notable amount of corrosion and rust in drain tube outlet and rubber hose. - safety has been put at risk from the water intrusion disabling electrical components in the vehicle - problem has been confirmed by Jaguar Land Rover monmouth, NJ - vehicle has been inspected by chubb insurance - there are no warning lamps because water intrusion has disabled warning systems - vehicle has been labeled a total loss by chubb insurance.
