Tl- the contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated that when they attempt to come to a rolling stop, the vehicle would jerk and the rpms would revv up without the accelerator pedal being pressed. The contact stated that while idle at a stop sign, with the break pedal pressed, the vehicle suddenly revved up and jerked forward without warning. Also, while in park position, the vehicle would revv up without warning. The vehicle's main computer that controls many electrical system within the vehicle had frozen as well, causing the backup camera and sensors to intermittently fail. Dealership (Land Rover ventura located at 3190 perkin Ave, CA 93003 phone number 855-222-3243)) who rebooted a certain system within the vehicle (system unknown) and updated the software, however, the failure remained. The vehicle was returned another dealership (Jaguar mission viejo located at 28701 marguerite pkwy, mission viejo, CA 92692 phone number 949-392-7300) who diagnosed transmission control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle's gear shift module was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and opened a case regarding the matter. The approximate failure mileage was 900. Gl.
