Unknown Or Other problem #1

I was driving in the freeway when suddenly my 2003 Range Rover started to slow down and completely stopped making a loud grinding noise when I stepped on the gas pedal. This is the 2nd time this happens.

Unknown Or Other problem #2

Manufacturer: Land Rover model: Range Rover 4. 0se year: 1999 location: new york city due to a high radio frequency signal in my neighborhood from building/commercial antennas, my vehicle's becm (computer) has been receiving/attracting signals erroneously while parked inside a garage. As a result, the computer is kept active the entire time it is parked thus draining the battery. In addition, the signal has caused both left and right side doors to short and malfunction. Since the vehicle's battery is fully drained, it had to be towed to the local dealership. Both front and right side door latches plus battery had to be replaced. Finally, a switch had to be installed in order to manually turn the computer on and off. Total parts and labor plus towing costs have totaled to approx. $3,000. Finally, another Range Rover in my garage has experienced the same problem and will have to undergo the same type of repairs and incur the same costs.

Unknown Or Other problem #3

Letter from the national transportation safety board referencing a complaint for 2003 Land Rover Range Rover-correspondence not enclosed as referenced in their letter.

Unknown Or Other problem #4

1. Whenever I drive over speed bumps or pot holes, it feels like the body of the vehicle vibrates. 2. While the vehicle is in motion, I hear a lot of rattling noise.

Unknown Or Other problem #5

While driving locally, in the neighborhood engine check light came on. Called dealer who told consumer to bring the car in. Was about 4 miles from home and the temperature gauge registered hot. Stopped immediately, called aaa and had it towed. Was told by dealer that the number one engine cylinder dropped into the piston because it moved, allowing anti-freeze to get into the engine.

Unknown Or Other problem #6

Exhaust system malfunctioned. In addition, engine valve cover gasket failed, resulting in an oil leak. Also, sway bar bolts broke/transmission/door lock and latch/rear lamps and remote control failed.

Unknown Or Other problem #7

While driving at 60 mph the engine check light came on, and there was an oil leak coming from the engine. Vehicle has been in the shop six times and the dealer can't determine the problem.
