Sensing System Camera problem #1

The contact owns a 2025 Land Rover. The contact's stated that while the contact's husband was reversing, the back-over prevention camera system did not function as intended. The contact stated the image was not displayed, and the alert did not function as intended. The contact's husband crashed into a parked vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied. The vehicle's front driver's door was damaged. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1500.

Warnings problem #2

When using my parking assist feature for the first time the vehicle malfunctioned causing me to hit the car that I was trying to park in front of. The park assist took over when I engaged it but accelerated and hit the care without warning. I happened so quickly that I could not apply the brake until it was too late. There were 4 of us in the car at the time and were all shocked. Luckily no one was injured but it was definitely a possibility and there was damage to both vehicles. The police were called but did only did an information exchange form. I tried the feature the next day in an empty parking lot and again the back up speed was noted to be too fast. I took it to the dealer the following Monday and they said the computer showed no malfunction but they did agree that one of the sensors should have warned me and that the speed is set too high. They said that it is not something that they can adjust however and urged me to reach out to Land Rover’s customer service. Land rover customer service told me to fill out this form. My insurance agent told me that this is their 3rd claim in a month with this issue. The dealer told me that they do not tell people that they have this parking assist feature because it is an issue. Why is not one addressing it then?!.
