I was on the highway and the rear spoiler over the back window flew off with the camera installed in the spoiler. The rear camera no longer works as a result of the spoiler flying off the vehicle. I contacted Land Rover of brooklyn and was informed that they will not make the repair or honor the recall.

2 Rearview System Braking problem of the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Failure Date: 03/01/2024

The backup camera fails to display any image on the screen, significantly impacting my visibility while reversing. This issue occurred unexpectedly. Upon contacting the dealer, I was informed there is an active recall (24v023) related to this problem, but my VIN is not included. I believe my vehicle is also affected by the same recall. For reference, Land Rover’s internal recall number for this issue is n778.

3 Rearview System Braking problem of the 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Failure Date: 10/30/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The contact stated while driving 65 mph on the highway, she heard a noise in the rear of the vehicle. After arriving at her destination, she became aware that the plastic covering to the rear camera fractured and detached from the vehicle. There were loose wires where the rear camera was located. The contact called Land Rover fort lauderdale (400 w. Copans road, pompano beach, FL 33064, (954) 949-0654) and was informed that the vehicle was not under recall and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 111,000.
