While driving home on the evening of June 27, 2023, a distance of about 15 miles, the low coolant light suddenly came on, and as we tried pulling over on the next freeway exit, the engine appeared to seize and cut out. It was difficult to brake and steer the car and we were nervous to get in an accident. We came to a rest off the freeway and then officers helped us push our car into a nearby auto zone. We left it there overnight to rest and when we came back the next day, the engine would not start. Had it towed to a nearby independent service center where they determined both engine heads had blown. The car is available for inspection. I have called the manufacturer to see if there were any recalls related to this and found a p055 recall for this model. The description in this recall is very similar to what we experienced.

I'm not sure how to explain but, there's so much going on with the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle as is but, was told they did an inspection and it was cleared. I was told that the brakes was brand new because, we heard squeaking. We took the vehicle for a diagnostic test because of the brakes. We got a quote for over 6114. 00. What!! brakes, suspension, hub, wheel barren, wheel aligment. What?? I just got this vehicle August 10, 2021 and this was November when this came up. We only had the brakes done which we paid over 1,000 and we were going to do the rest at another time. We begin having problems with the brakes and vehicle shaking bad when you drive up to 60 mph. We called them, they had no loaner car until February 18, 2022. We were told it'll be safe to drive until then. Took the vehicle in and still having brake problems and now they said, we definetly need to get suspension done because, it could possibly be the hub and they want to do another diagnostics. So much wrong with vehicle. I asked about the recall because, I noticed something leaking from the back was told they will check it out but, if they don't see anything they don't have to fix it. . I told them there's a recall on it and it need to fix it but, they are refusing to fix it because, it was an as is vehicle.

On the highway, merritt 15 in CT, the car completely shut down, no power brakes, steering, no ability to speed up. Engine shut off, all electrical shut off. Luckily I was going slow since my exit was coming up but I lost all ability to control the vehicle in a safe way and if I was going the highway speed it could have ended very badly.

I was driving out of whataburger on 8-2-16 and all of a sudden my brakes just went all the way down to the floor board and I stopped right before I was in traffic. My tire pressure light stays on, I have had them checked several times & the back of the truck jumps to the side if I hit a bump. All of this scares the heck out of me and I have only had this vehicle 5 months. Also the truck would start and cut off so I took it to a shop 4 times and they so called fixed it. I was told I had oil leaking into my valves. It is starting better but still some hesitation at times.
