"takata recall", after contacting local Lexus dealership I made an appointment on 9/8/2017 to have repairs made, I was told no remedy available per the local Lexus dealership (Lexus of bellevue). It is now 12/19/2017 and still no repairs or remedy from Lexus.
Takata recall - it has been over a year and Lexus has not come up with a solution, putting me and my family in danger!.
Takata recall. I received a recall notice eleven months ago. May 2016. I was told the replacement would take place in late December 2016 or by January 2017. It is now April 20, 2017 and as of this day nothing. Toyota has had ample time to resolve this issue. My vehicle is in zone a recall.
Takata air bag recall - the recall letter for air bag was issued on may 23, 2016 and the car manufacture Lexus has no remedy yet for passenger air bag replacement. It is approaching one year since the recall for the passenger air bag recall. It is unacceptable to take almost one year without remedy.
Nothing has happened. Why is it taking Lexus so long to fix the problem? Especially since there is potentially serious danger possible.
Takata recall. We received notice of the takata airbag recall in roughly August of 2016. It said that a passenger should not sit in the passenger seat. My wife and I are retired and always drive together. This recall made our Lexus undriveable for the past year and 3 months. There has been no recompensation by Lexus.
Takata recall: information from Lexus dealer is parts to correct the recalled air bag problem will not be available till January 2017. This is totally unacceptable and unreasonable to expect the customer to wait five or six months for repairs.
The contact owns a 2011 Lexus Es-r350. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 16v340000 (air bags) and stated that the part needed was unavailable to perform the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Takata recall we received the recall notice over 14 months ago and a remedy has not yet been made available. The rental car offered until the remedy was available did not match the type and standard of the vehicle affected or its safgety equipment -- no problem with airbag yet but wondering if it only a matter of time.
I was notified in July of 2016 I called them twice in tampa florida. To this date they told me to call them again in January 2017. This is almost six months since I was notified I have passengers in my car on a daily basis. And I live in florida where it is very hot and humid in the car it can get over 200 degrees.
Takata recall. I have been afraid to use the passenger front seat since the recall was announced. Therefore, I can use only 3/4 of the car. They are taking way too long to address this. If they cannot fix it, they should compensate me for the missing 1/4 of the car.
No action taken on the part of Lexus regarding recall for unsafe airbags. Recall was issued in may of 2016; it's been one year.
May 23,2016 manufacturer recall numberglg NHTSA recall number16v340 recall statusrecall incomplete still the local dealer is refusing to fix the problem. I have to use my car going to work, city and highway from frisco to mckinney in texas.
Takata recall. Date of the recall is 5/23/16. Today is 2/27/17. Lexus' advice is to not allow anyone to ride in the passenger seat until the airbag is replaced. Lexus told me today they have no scheduled date for when takata will have the replacement airbag available for my model. 10 months (with no repair date scheduled) is unreasonable and unacceptable while having to avoid having a passenger ride in the front seat. And I see only 28% of the Lexus vehicles have had the passenger airbags replace thus far. So my complaint is that the action being taken by NHTSA and Lexus, and the urgency by takata are unacceptable. It is approaching a year now that we will been asked to ride in a potentially unsafe vehicle. Absurd.
"takata recall" the first contact was a letter NHTSA - takata airbag inflation expansion summary of phase (zone a - gop (intrim g1p). The second contact was a letter dated may 23, 2016 stating saftey recall glg & glh (intrim g2g & g2h) the third contact was a letter with my VIN: jthbk1eg9b2448256 and NHTSA recall no. 16v -340 . I went to my Lexus dealership September 14, 2017 and asked when my defective car will be repaired. I was told that the lady that handles car defects was in a meeting and she would call me as soon as possible. The next day the lady from Lexus car defects called me back and said that they were working on earlier year models at present. She said that she did not know when Lexus would be working on the 2011 airbag defects. I feel that the federal government is complacent and should be doing more. Why can't the federal government tell any and all car manufacturers you have a few months to repair defects or the federal government will start limiting the amount of new cars that they can sell in the u. S. A. ? the federal government has the stick but refuses to use it. Our lives don't matter only "money" matters!.
Lexus has not been able to resolve the issue with my passenger front airbag since may of 2016. I understand to some degree the delay caused by the massive number of issues with the takata corporation's products, however this has prevented the use of my front passenger seat for over 7 months with no end in sight. This seems unacceptable for any manufacturer, particularly one of the stature of Lexus.
Takata recall. When do they propose to do something since it has been over a year since I received the notice. It is nice that they say don't drive with an occupant in the front passenger seat. However, not everyone has the luxury of doing this. Maybe Lexus executives have multiple vehicles so they do not have to have passengers ride with them. If that is their solution, the ceo of Lexus can lend me one of his cars until they get around to fixing mine.
Takata recall. I received a recall notice eleven months ago. May 2016. I was told the replacement would take place in late December 2016 or by January 2017. It is now April 21, 2017 and as of this day nothing. Toyota has had ample time to resolve this issue. My vehicle is in zone a recall. We have inquired through Lexus every 60 days, as to staus of repair/recall and each time have been told there is no information or remedy available as yet. One year is ample time to find a solution to this problem. What is my recourse at this point?.
Takata recall I purchased this vehicle two years ago as of December 2017. I have as of yet had this airbag replaced. When I call the dealer; tom williams Lexus they do not return phone calls. I need to know when and if they will replace this airbag.
I have not received a recall notice for my air bag but received a notice that says "Toyota's record indicate that you maybe a class member" is my car recalled?.
