Suspension Problems of Lexus ES

The component that failed is the under engine cross member. This is available for inspection. My safety was put at risk due to the cross member being bent so much that is didn't screw back in correctly, thus could have caused the engine to have fallen out of the car or worse. The problem was reproduced at hendrick Lexus kansas city. This concern was confirmed by the technician along with a video. The vehicle was supposed to had been inspected the first time at park Lexus to certify it as a certified pre owned by Lexus, 200 point inspection. After a week of me owning the car, I sent it back to parker Lexus for a rattling noise coming from the drivers side area. Parker Lexus said everything was fine with the underbody of the car. This is the second time. The third time. I took it back to parker Lexus again for them to locate the noise again. Again they said everything was fine with the car. The fourth time I took it to hendrick Lexus kansas city for them to look for the issue. They verified the issue and said that the cross member, under the car, was bent all the way back and including the hole where the bolt was supposed to go. Hendrick Lexus also said that who ever had looked at it before had put felt on the cross member to alleviate the noise coming from the under the car. No warning lamps, no other symptoms prior to failure. The problem first arose the day of buying the car 10/31/2025, driving it home.

Authorized dealership service department (Toyota west/germain automotive group) performed structural repairs and released a vehicle back to me as safe. I operated this vehicle on public highways with my child. Upon subsequent inspection, the same dealership declared the vehicle a 'total loss' due to structural frame damage caused by their own technician. The dealership knowingly allowed a structurally compromised, unsafe vehicle to be driven off their lot without disclosing the safety risks.

They knowingly released a vehicle with a critical safety defect onto a public highway. ?4. Retaliation when I contacted Toyota corporate to complain, the technician texted "you blew up the spot coming through Toyota. . . They can't help you. The front control arms, their bushings and ball joints are failing. My car only has 125k miles on it, but it drifts and bounces around as if there is no struts at all. It is very scary to drive, it feels like something terrible is about to happen like a wheel snapping off and causing accident. I took it to several mechanics. They say it will cost $1,700k to replace one control arm! $3,400k for both. The rubber bushings are completely deteriorated due to the rubber being bad. (my dashboard is also melting, and the rubber weather stripping on all of the doors/windows).

Severe vibration from 30-70mph when acceleration, outboard boot split/slinging grease on left/right sides. Cv axle has alot of movement. Right and left axle shaft needs removed and replaced.

The braking, steering and suspension components are malfunctioning and are extremely rusted. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. My safety as well as my passengers, other motorists and pedestrians with children and pets on the roads and highways safety is compromised due to the vehicle violently and unexpectedly pulling left and right, losing contact with the road over rough road surfaces and shaking uncontrollably during deceleration. I cannot state with certainty that the dealerships have reproduced the problem and I have not been given written permission to take my vehicle to an independent service center after numerous complaints. I cannot confirm that the vehicle or components have been inspected by the manufacturer, however no police, or insurance representatives have inspected my vehicle. There were no warning lamps or messages displayed on my vehicle's instrument panels, however, there were symptoms such as shaking, rattling, uncomfortable and uncharacteristic handling and a feeling of a serious problem or defect prior to the suspension lower arm assembly being replaced and diagnosis of broken steering column bushings, circa 2021. As of today, the low tire pressure light stays on constantly.

Car was bought new in sept of 2009 my wife drives in town and it only has 27000 miles on it and the two front tires are showing steel belts on both inside of tires,pretty on safe. Have been told it is how the car is set up. The problem will keep happening. My wife would not told me but she heard something slapping. Checked it out and found both front tires are bad and dangerous to drive with. What happen if she was in and accident?.

Cars pulls to the left when on freeway. Lexus dealer where I bought car has determined that because I'm over weight it pulls to the left. They determined that almost 2 years after I bought the car. Every time I brought it in they said nothing is wrong. The told me the caster was off and was going to fix it then they said the caster was fine and it was me being over weight I'm about 350lbs. My car still pulls to the left and they misaligned my car telling me it was going to fix it. Left is at 1. 8 right is at 1. 5.
