Two problems related to trunk lid have been reported for the 1998 Lexus GS300. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After opening the trunk and placing contents into the vehicle, the trunk fell onto the consumers head. The consumer sustained a black eye.
When opening the trunk, trunk lid falls down unexpectedly which may cause injuries.
