One problem related to cruise control has been reported for the 2006 Lexus GS300. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2006 Lexus Gs300. This event occurs when the cruise control is engaged. Suppose the speed is set at 70 mph and I slow down to 67 mph because of traffic. When I push the resume lever, the engine greatly speeds up and the transmission drops into a lower gear. The result is a lunge forward instead of a smooth increase in speed. Very dangerous.
