Three problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2013 Lexus GS350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2013 Lexus GS 350. The contact received a notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v270000 (brakes) and stated that the part needed was unavailable to perform the recall repair. The dealer informed that the part would not become available until mid August of 2014. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Safety recall sent may 22 2014 regarding brake pedal load sensing switch. After several calls and attempted appointments Lexus states they do not have the part to fix the defective device and I need to wait until part is available. Currently 8 months and counting without a fix in place.
Continued problem with the brakes loud growling noise when light foot pressure is applied or let up and the car is stopped. Was informed by the dealer that is normal for all new Lexus models. It appears to me that the dealer does not want to address the problem.
