To whom it may concern; greetings, it is with extreme disappointment, frustration and trauma that we notify you of a third burn in our car. On Friday, 14 February we experienced a 2nd smoke and burn stain on the arm rest in the rear. Yet again the car was in motion, time was approximately 3:30p, we had 4:30p dinner reservations. As suggested during our last visit Monday, 20 January a possible reflection from something in the car could have started the smoke and burn. We are baffled, traumatized and extremely concerned about these issues that randomly occur when the car is in motion. We are fearful of driving the car with ease and comfort promised by the Lexus brand. We were advised to removed the car from our garage, remove the cross hanging from the rear view mirror yet again we have another issue. Since purchasing this car, we have experienced issue after issue with random burning being most severe. We are trying to enjoy our car and have faith in this brand. We must say it is quite challenging to say the lease. Please tell us next steps and what our options are. Patching burn marks is not a solution to these ongoing issues. We look forward to hearing from you soon. We have provided pictures of the burn mark for your review. Third burn issue overall and second burn issue on rear armrest. I visited multiple times at the Lexus dealership for fixing the ticking noise. When I drove uneven pavement, press break, and rough road, it produces metal ticking noise. They fixed my car 3 times (under warranty) but I'm still hearing the same noise over and over. 1st time - they insulated the rear door speaker 2nd time - they changed the seat-belt buckle 3rd time - they changed the seat-belt and replaced some bolts. 4th time - they refused to fix my car and they told me to send the noise in mp3/video, so I sent the file to them but they ignored me I don't think this problem is relating to the seatbelt. I think it's factory defect in the weld/glue of the b-pillar where it attaches to the roof. I tried to tell them the problem but they did not listen to me at all this noise is happened in last januray but I couldn't visit at the dealership due to the work and I started to visit at there in July and they couldn't fix the problem until now. . . To whom it may concern: greetings, this message is being sent on the behalf of cheryl (xxxx) & raymond (xxxxx) 2015 Lexus Gs350 (xxxxx) subject: another electrical issue again: issue: back seat arm rest ignited: rear arm rest ignited and burned through the leather leaving a black burnt mark. We are extremely concerned about this vehicle. This is the second electrical issue that we have experienced and could have caused a fire while we were driving. We have provided a few pictures below for your review. We look forward to hearing from someone soon. We did take our vehicle to johnson Lexus of raleigh service department on 01/20/2020 and we spoke with general manager deborah meli & service manager rick bergevin. Mr. Rick took photos to send to a Lexus specialist for review. Mr. Rick suggested that this might have occurred do to owners error. Either something spilled in that area or it was a reflection of some object that caused this issue to occur. We informed him that this had to have happened do to heating elements malfunctioning and it ignited from inside outward. While in motion on the highway. If you have any feedback or suggestions that could expedite this claim please do so. Redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. As I was driving in the early morning, I opened the moonroof. 5 minutes later I decided to close it because it got cold fast in the car. Upon closing, the moonroof glass self exploded as I was driving 40-45mph. The glass was everywhere. I had to immediately pull over and asses why and what had happened. Nothing hit it, nothing fell on it, all I did was open and close it and it exploded. After further research online, I realized I wasn't the only one that this has happened to. I decided to submit my complaint as this is a very scary and dangerous issue.

I have gone 2 weeks with no ac and im in oklahoma where its 90+ degree weather.
Infotainment notifications entirely obscure rear camera view of cars. This is true of all Toyota a d Lexus models using the infotainment system.

I was inside the building , looking at a new vehicle, VIN. Jthcz1bl4ha006372. Then manager pulled me into the office with witnesses and explained he wasnt doing business with me, he was nice and explained, I was excited at what he explained. I took pic of giant sticker, the VIN dash has a square scan but my phone wouldnt read it, sales man said that service has a machine that read it, he said they usually come with 0-6 miles due to factory testing, I have a Toyota now , I went to dmv in Lincoln, paid my dollor for search, im putting a lien of a dollar and paying the $7 for the lien on ne title to get started. Keys might be locked in the trunk. It has dot tires, im a class c commercial. My concern is how did the vehicle get into a locked building with no data, your report says Lexus, but Lexus is owned by Toyota motor sales and your site showed no owner. Did this vehicle pass epa emissions test . Its as a business property of a dealership in Lincoln, ne. Stationary, what type of fuel, are dot tires paid off?. Seat belt buzards dont sound until vehicles reachabove 13 usually. Tires pressure is to be checked and logged one a month. Batteries get old from non use of storage, wattanty usually starts when cables are attached for engine to start to test. Who tested it. I have picture of giant sticker on my phone.
Dealers hate me, too educated. Vehicle is a commercial class c -hazmat operated as a type o. In ne, this vehicle is parked in the dealership untitled into the state of ne, dot tire warranty, tires must be checked every month for valve stem leaks, battery go old after sitting around. Dealer rejected to 1099 misc me, warranty of Toyota pays to unwrap and wash vehicles yet dmv has no record of weight of vehicle for class c, no record of certificate of exemption of vehicle even being in ne, epa requires engine info from japan shipping to USA. Dot requires cargo to be clear of hazards from japan to USA. Yet dmv/ dealer have no records to prover non hazards to me as a driver, no insurance no registartion in drivers door , no shipping papers in drivers door. Firestone warranty needs reciepts of purchase, no manufacturer date listed, repair shop has unpaid bill of applying parts to skin violating the coverage of water damage, glue is worse then water. Bobbi lynn fagan aka rousseau -hazmat , no odometer statement from Toyota motor sale to ne to dealership to floor room, 6500 telluride, ne 68521. I need to know what cabin air filter installed, storage type or driver typre=epa dot has dot number on tires been transfered , I filed with dmv state-ne , filed with geico insurance, 5-01-2017, I have photos to send later.
The driver side front tire scratches the fender when turning half way right. I reported to the dealer, dealer also showed me the same model which has the same issue, then he said he can do nothing with this, so this is normal.
The rear view mirror image is fading with crinkle marks on the surface of the glass of the mirror. I garage my car at home and work so I know that it is not the sun that caused it. I have read some of the same problems with other owners of the car on the Lexus blog. Many have contacted their local Lexus dealer and were told to purchase a new mirror which costs anywhere from $300 to $700 out of their own pockets. Can you help me?.

The contact owns a 2013 Lexus Gs350. The contact stated that the voice command feature did not operate properly. As a result, the contact had to enter three hand commands instead of being able to use her voice. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the system operated the way it was designed. The contact was also referred to the manufacturer, who did a simulation and agreed that certain hand commands were necessary. The manufacturer also stated that the feature was operating as designed. The contact felt that she should not have to use hand commands and felt unsafe when doing so. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were 1,100. Updated 10/3/12 updated 10/04/12.

This is a correction of complaint #10263748 regarding a "Smart key" fault. I recently had the opportunity to drive a 2007 Lexus GS equipped with their "Smart key" , I. E. A key fob which can stay in your pocket and allow you to start the vehicle without requiring a key in the ignition. Similarly, I also drove a 2009 Nissan murano equipped with the same type "Smart key". I have found that both vehicles can be shut off and exited while it is inadvertently left in the "neutral" position. Although a barely audible chime rings, a driver can exit the vehicle not realizing the vehicle can free-wheel on them and if the vehicle is on any type of incline, it will begin rolling away -- possibly as they are half-way out of the car or walking away!! I am astounded that there are no "neutral safety" controls on these new vehicles. Standard key ignitions prevent the driver from removing the key in any position except "park" when they exit . . . Not so with these new "Smart key" cars!! I foresee many accidents occurring unless some correction is made in this "Smart key option" -- think of a person trying to reenter a rolling vehicle, a child in a driveway, or a car rolling into an intersection!! I don't understand how a government vehicle safety organization would overlook this serious flaw.
