Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Lexus Gs350. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, approaching an intersection the vehicle becan to shudder and while the accelerated pedal was depressed the vehicle hastate to accelerate. Unknow aware of warning light illuminating. Another vehicle crashed into the contact vehicle. All airbags deployed. A police report was made. Medical was contacted however at the time the contact did not need any assistance. The contact sustained minor injured chest. Police towed the vehicle to a lot and deemed the vehicle a total loss. No dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The contact mentioned that he received a recall notification for NHTSA recall number 20v012 which could be a possible soultion to the failure that occurred. The failure mileage was approximately 6,250. Ck.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Tl the contact owns a 2009 Lexus GS 350. When accelerating, the contact detected an abnormal odor entering the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 18v432000 (fuel system, gasoline) at the end of August 2018, but continued to experience the failure. The vehicle was taken to coliseum Lexus of oakland (located at 7273 oakport st, oakland, CA 94621, (510) 858-2658), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified. I purchased my vehicle 2018 and within approx. A month I was involved in an accident on the freeway where my vehicle stalled which resulted in major damages to my car . I couldn't explain what happened because I didn't know at the time. Prior to the accident I spoke to the dealership and reported that the check engine light wouldn't turn off and he stated it probably needed tuneup . Car felt rough. Accident resulted in vehicle repair and me w/o a car. The air bag did not deploy, entire front car smashed in. After vehicle was restored engine light and tire pressure lights remain on , had to take car to Lexus dealership (north park) where it was maintenence. When I picked it up car sounded strangely loud and as I was driving off the car stalled again. Nobody was available to help me and I ended up taking car home . The following day I spoke to two managers and expressed my concerns . My car was then picked up from my home and taken to Lexus dealership where another thorough inspection was completed. Long story short they found something wrong and have me an estimate in which I paid a significant amount of money. Since then my car is inspected timely and to this day engine lights and other lights are on and nobody will do anything but take my money to replace misc items! now I just read there is a recall which explains everything and for once it makes sense that this " luxury "car sold to me was a lemon and a very expensive one at that with all the repairs and just feeling safe in my vehicle while I'm driving! I've reached out to Lexus and nobody returns calls or act like they are not familiar with a recall for my car. In the meantime, everyb time I drive the car I fear that it will stall again for the 4th time and maybe me and my son won't be so lucky! when it stopped on the freeway it was sudden and in heavy traffic . Every now and then my car won't start .

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Lexus Gs350. The contact stated that there had been the presence of an intermittent fuel leak in the rear of the vehicle. In addition, the steering wheel had veered to the left, the suspension was unstable while operating the steering wheel as the vehicle at time was hesitating and suddenly braking with no warning. The dealer Lexus santa monica (1501 santa monica blvd, santa monica, CA 90404, (424) 231-6601) was notified of the failures, indicated that there was a need for the injector seals to be inspected however the vehicle was not diagnosed yet. The manufacturer had not issued a recall for the fuel system but had a TSB January 16, 2018 l-tt-0237-18 which was affecting 150 products, 1 brake recall, 1 steering recall, 5 steering TSB, no suspension recall and 1 TSB on suspension. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.

Mis firing vsc light is on with check engine light, I brought it to la blanc they change spark plugs the light went off and came back on the next day, I brought the back out to them they kept the car over night, mr. John said they can't find anything wrong with the car. I looked up the Lexus GS 350 2008 theres 3 recalls on this car , piping,fitting,hoses, line fuel system ,engine cooling.

Loud chirping noise from engine during idle. Dealer states is normal and from high pressure fuel component. I am not confident in this since fuel is involved. Very loud odd sound. I have video but iunable to send through here. Ongoing problem over past months.

Received urgent safety recall notice (elf-potential fuel pressure sensor leak - can cause fire!). Called dealership to make appointment to repair. They said they did not have the part, would have to order and call me to schedule appointment. Could be as long as a month! unacceptable! why didn't Lexus/Toyota have enough parts ready to ship to accommodate the repairs? they know how many cars it affects and the recall came out in October of 2014. They had plenty of time to be ready & have the parts available to get them to the repair facilities in a timely manner. This is a safety issue and I don't feel real safe right now.

I received a recall notice about two months ago and after numerous calls to my local dealer, akron canton Lexus, nothing has been resolved, no replacement has been made and have not received any help from my local dealer. The recall involves a potential fuel pressure sensor leak which I might think may be a serious issue to address especially since important safety recall notice is written in red ink!!.

Low beam xenon headlight on drivers side intermittently shuts off. At times both low beam headlights flicker and shut off completely causing no vision at night. When the lights are switched off then back on they work once again but usually for a few minutes only. Also, there's always a strong gasoline smell in the car, while sitting still. Once the car is in motion, the smell seems to go away.

3/24/09, received a safety recall notice from Lexus division, Toyota motor sales, USA, inc. Torrence, CA about a replacement of fuel delivery pipes (fuel rails) I purchased a 2007 Gs350 Lexus from putnan Lexus, redwood city, CA 94063 about July 2007. 3/23/09, called Lexus of serremonte, coma, CA , 877 200-4498; talked to cindy at service dept; gave her the VIN, my full name and home address. She told me it will be ready in about 5 days & then to arrange appt for repair. 4/1, about 2:35pm,talked to robin on status after being put on hold and transferred 2/3 times in about 18 minutes, I was told there was no record of any order for the fuel rails; cindy did not order the parts; they are having problem locating me in their records because I did not buy the car at serramonte; they have to find me through their national register ??? robin assured that the parts were being order and to call back in 2/3 weeks, due to several back log ?? 4/21, called serramonte again for status. . Talked to eva, x 2133, head of cashier/service dept; she has no record of me, no order and gave me the same reasons; 3000 cars back log, did not buy it from them, etc. She assured me again that she is creating a file and the parts will be ready in 2 weeks. , . That is after I threaten to call the general manager. I am not at all satisfied with her answer either despite her promise to put my file on her desk!!!! I called putnam Lexus, the dealer I bought the car from; talked to oscar pacheco, service consultant; I now have an appt for 4/29/09 at 10am with the required parts in store already. That tells me Lexus of serramente lied to me 3 times about the order of the parts, grossly inefficient and not in compliance of your safety recall. Please do whatever necessary to enforce compliance. I am also sending a copy of this to Lexus, Toyota motor sales to investigate their own dealers unacceptable sales/service practice.
