Two problems related to front seat belt retractor have been reported for the 1998 Lexus GS400. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The front seat belts retractor failed.
Door switch, seat belt, and steering shim failure. Other failures include problems with security system, a/c and stereo controllers failed, cigarette lighter and trunk release failed, windows slow to retract.
