My front dashboard is cracking and paint is agressively peeling on all 4 doors, hood, & roof. Thousands of people have experienced the same issues. Go visit Toyota/Lexus/scion paint peels, but they have a fix in the works (for some) on facebook and see for yourself.

Dashboard for my car started cracking and becoming sticky. Symptoms are worse when car is parked outside. The material used is not heat resistant. There was a recall for dashboard cracks, but it was time bound. If consumer is always parking car indoors, symptoms will take time to appear. As this problem affects safety of airbag and other critical components around dashboard, it should be repaired irrespective of when the symptom start happening. Many other consumers are also seeing similar issues. Lexus forums are flooded with complaints about dashboard. Someone from NHTSA should investigate this in detail.

Dashboard is cracked.

Dashboard has become sticky, cracked, and is now so shiny we have to drape a towel over the dash as headlight glare makes driving at night very dangerous. Lexus acknowledges they had a bad batch of dashboards and no longer uses that vendor. Lexus corporate has respectfully declined repair claiming the issue did not surface until limited window expired. Previous class action lawsuit.

Dash board is cracked around the stereo and screen area. I thought it would be much better equipment since it is Lexus but I guess not.

Dashboard is cracking around the airbag, made affect airbag deployment. Because airbag maybe not be securely in place.

The dashboard of my Lexus is melting and cracking. It is also causing reflections on my windshield limiting my visibility.

The dashboard on my 2004 Lexus Gx 470 started to show a few cracks back in 2011. It has progressively gotten worse. The vehicle is always garage-stored. This appears to be a real problem that Lexus refuses to take responsibility for.
