Wiper Problems of Lexus GX

The driver side mirror shakes around 45 to 50 miles an hour plus. The passenger side mirror at the same speeds stays true and does not vibrate. While I am driving mostly on the highway the driver side mirror shakes or bounces up and down which distorts the images behind me. It is a safety concern where I am getting dizzy while driving. I brought the car back to the dealership Lexus of pembroke pines, and they replaced the entire mirror assembly, but it is having the same problem again. The car is not even two weeks old. The constant vibration is a legitimate safety concern and prevents me from safely operating this vehicle.

My moonroof spontaneously exploded while accelerating from a stop. We were not hit by any object and were not traveling at a high rate of speed at the time. We heard a very loud "pop" followed by a rain of glass from the moon roof. Driver sustained cuts to his hand due from the glass shards.

Dashboard has become sticky, cracked, and is now so shiny we have to drape a towel over the dash as headlight glare makes driving at night very dangerous. Lexus acknowledges they had a bad batch of dashboards and no longer uses that vendor. Lexus corporate has respectfully declined repair claiming the issue did not surface until limited window expired. Previous class action lawsuit.

While driving on i84w in idaho at 65 mph and towing a 2013 airstream 23d trailer the mirror on the drivers side folded back while driving due to the wind causing loss of visibility to the left rear and we could not see vehicles approaching to overtake us. The Lexus is equipped with factory installed towing package. As the airstream trailer is wider than the Lexus towing mirrors are required by law. Lexus does not make or recommend any particular towing mirror. We were using the fit system 3891 deluxe universal clip-on trailer towing mirror. We stopped at the first opportunity and unfolded the mirror. The same mirror folded back several more times while driving west on i84. The weather was good without any unusual wind conditions. We had no problem with the passenger side mirror which had the same model fit towing mirror. Kuni lexis of portland told me there was nothing wrong with my mirror and they had no solution to offer me. As the Lexus Gx is equipped and sold as a vehicle that can tow I believe it should accept towing mirrors which are required by law when towed trailer is wider than the tow vehicle.

The dashboard of my Lexus is melting and cracking. It is also causing reflections on my windshield limiting my visibility.

Navigation/screen is black, can’t control heat/ac/defrost or see audio/nav, any safety concerns (fogging, distractions, etc. ). Tire sensor on, due to sensor failure. Caused me to pull off the road. No way of actually being notified of a tire pressure safety issue.
