Wiper problem #1

The sunroof glass spontaneously shattered while driving on the highway at 70 mph. There was no projectile which caused the glass to shatter. We were not near an overpass, there were no other cars nearby, and there was farmland on all sides.

Wiper problem #2

When putting the vehicle in reverse the sideview mirrors automatically turn in and down per Lexus default. Problem is you cannot override the default to adjust them for a clear view to the rear, which means every time you back-up you have to adjust them. That creates 2 safety issues: first being sometime I am in the middle of the street trying to adjust the mirror to I can back-up, second if I don't I could possible damage or injure something or someone. I am a retied tractor-trailer operator, was also instructor qualified in the military, an accident investigator in the military, and have over a million miles under my belt. I say this so you understand if this was the military I would not let any of my soldiers operate this vehicle with the default Lexus has set the mirrors at. I have notified Lexus, but they are taking it as a dissatisfied customer instead of a safety issue and the possibility of the major ramifications this could cause (I. E. Damage, injury, death, etc. ) while backing up. The picture I am sending is taken from head height like I was looking at the mirror, which shows what I see every time I put the vehicle in reverse.

Wiper problem #3

On December 12, 2017, about 5 pm. I was driving home from work. I heard a loud explosion. Thought I had blown a tire on the passenger side it was so loud it scared me. I pulled over on the side of the road immediately and called my spouse. While I was on the phone my spouse and I discussed what it could have been since no tire was blown. I picked under the vehicle couldn't see anything leaking or damage. I got back in the car with my spouse still on the phone and started the vehicle to check dummy lights on the - nothing there. I started the car and kept driving down the road I could hear air coming through my sunroof. Luckily the moon roof sliding door was closed so no glass had entered the inside. But could tell that the sunroof was shattered. I was driving home from work with no one near me in front or behind or passing for a good 200 to 300 yd before I pulled over. It was a typical fall day like semi overcast but in the sixties and not windy. I was in shock that the sunroof had shattered there was no construction no debris no badd weather wasn't hot or cold it was just crazy and scary. We had a difficult time finding a replacement glass. It was quite the debacle. The glass cost us over $900 through Toyota with a shipment debacle that took almost 3 weeks to come in period then I had to pay precision glass out of castle rock to install this for me. Which cost me another couple 100 bucks of course are deductible for insurance didn't cover in would have exceeded the cost to do so $1000.
