The contact owns a 2005 Lexus Gx470. The contact attempted to stop the vehicle while driving approximately 25 mph with her foot on the brake pedal, and it accelerated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. They test drove it and stated that they were unable to diagnose or duplicate the failure. The Lexus manufacturer was notified. A representative from the manufacturer test drove the vehicle and they were also unable to duplicate the failure or determine the cause of it. The failure mileage was 5,000.
