Three problems related to carrier/rack have been reported for the 2007 Lexus GX470. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Dashboard/cover cracks over the (1) odometer assembly and (2) glove compartments. These may affect the air bags in those areas. I bought this used at around 95000 miles on January 20, 2018 from infinity berman la salle st chicago illinois. I read there were previous reports on dashboard for earlier Gx470 but this is not covered. Carfax report for this VIN does not have reported accident or damage.
Dash is cracking.
