This Is in regards to dashboard stickiness, cracking and windshield glare/reflection. Also the door panels. The understanding Lexus Issued warranty enhancement now they indicate the program has expired. We jut purchased the vehicle for our 16 year old daughter and this Is major concerns since it had safety impact in my mind due to the glaring and possible impact to the air bag due to the workmanship flaw that Lexus Is admitting to. Dashboard Is cracking and getting really sticky.

Episode 1: vehicle purchased new in January 2017. In February 2017, windshield cracked while driving down the road at approximately 70mph. No foreign object was seen or heard hitting windshield. Closest vehicle was approximately 40-50 yards in front of damaged vehicle. Episode 2: spring 2019, windshield cracked while driving down the road at approximately 50 mph. Small object heard hitting windshield (never seen). Again, closest vehicle was approximately 40-50 yards in front of damaged vehicle. Episode 3: July 2019, no evidence of when or how windshield cracked. Returned to car (covered parking garage) to find 8 inch crack in windshield.

Dashboard and door panels are liquefying. The melting dashboard Is creating a haze on the windshield that's obtrusive for safe driving. The door panels are cracking every where.

My 2007 Lexus Is250 has Issues with the windshield molding. The left and right side are chipping away and cracking on the left and right side. It seems like it Is due to the sun and the part does not withstand heat causing it to dry where it becomes brittle. This can be a safety Issue and needs to be resolved.

I have a sticky dashboard with all four of doors are cracking,soft and sticky, upon touching the sticky soft dash rubs off onto your hands and clothes, there's a glare that reflects unto you eyes when the sun shines upon sitting and/or driving which causes a severe vision impairment which can and will cause an accident eventually.

Under heated conditions dash becomes very sticky. Door panels are melting, cracking and falling apart.

My 2008 Lexus Is250 passenger side windshield bracket clip break off, when I drive at a high speed I can hear the noise that the wind tapping against the windshield. Because the bracket clip Is broken, so it will not hold the windshield frame down. I affair that it will come off and hit someone behind or people on the side walk if someone happens to be jogging. When I look at it, it seem that the bracket Is poorly design. The car at this age should not happens if the design Is look carefully. I never see like this before, even my truck 300,000 mile the windshield bracket still strong.

Dash and black parts of doors are melting, cracking, and pieces are falling off. When driving and in sun dash gets very shiny and reflects onto windshield. Concerned about the integrity of the dash and possible affect it could have on the air bags.

Dashboard and side interior door panels appear to be melting and cracking. Lexus agreed to partially pay for replacement of the dashboard, to which I had to agree because of safety concerns. Dashboard would reflect light, causing problems seeing out of the windshield. Lexus also agreed to partially pay for door panels, but because my cost would still have been over $1500, I could not accept their offer. I was told at the dealer that they had never seen this, which I later came to find out this was an ongoing problem. A service bulletin was Issued months prior that I was never notified about.

Sun causes shiny dash which results in a safety Issue with resulting excessive glare on the windshield. Cracks and splitting in dash may result in possible degradation to the passenger front air bag because the cracks and splits in dash could potentially cause the airbags to deploy.

Sticky / melting dash, dash cracking, all door panels melting and cracking staining clothes when comes in contact with. Both problems creating a glare when driving. I bought this car new and Lexus would not stand behind their product knowing its defective, even when it was under the bumper to bumper and Lexus brand extended warranty. The car Is under the sun 1 hr per day while driving. Vehicle Is in a garage both at home and work and this still happened.
