Wheel problem #1

On Friday, September 15, 2023 3:00pm, I had a “horrible” experience with my Lexus this weekend and sudden unintended acceleration. I was sitting at a red light, with my foot on the brake. Without warning the engine began to rev, the tires squealed and the car lurched forward. I through the car into park & turned of the car as quickly as I could react and “thank god” no one was injured and there was no accident. I was in the car with my wife and she reminded me she had a similar experience a month ago. I didn’t know what to think when she told me. Until I experienced it myself I didn’t really understand how dangerous this problem Is. She experience this sudden unintended acceleration when the car was in park after she got in the car and started it. I’ve read of this sudden unintended acceleration but never experienced it until this weekend. It was exactly this. . An unintended, unexpected, uncontrolled acceleration of a vehicle, accompanied by an apparent loss of braking effectiveness. This was not driver error. It Is some kind of mechanical, software problem, electrical problem, or some combination of these factors. There was no driver error. This Is not an Issue with the floor mats. I drove the car home into the garage. I took it to the dealership the first available appointment on Monday. I had another incident on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. I was at the gym. My wife went to move my car as my parking time limit in la jolla had expired. She experience sudden unintended acceleration when the car was in park after she got in the car and started it. The car had high engine revs and the car lurched forward while in park. The Lexus dealership kept the car for a week. Mileage 67,249 vehicle report - 802177 reviewed and analyzed by Lexus factory. No recommended repairs are needed or required at this time. I opened tas case 21326202801. I contacted Lexus product liability team case # 23092500299 but, no one from corporate will look at the car. What should do? d larsen.

Wheel problem #2

The dashboard melted again, I had the TSB in 2017 to replace the dash. It Is now again melted and obstructs your view by shining onto to the front windshield, obstructing the front view of the driver can cause impairment of vision and could lead to collision. The rear view mirror has black corrosion on it making it impossible to see clearly in the rearview and also obstructing your view which could cause an accident due to limited visibility when changing lanes. Sometimes when driving or parking the power steering locks the steering wheel in place intermittently, could not get it to happen at dealer but happened before and Is a severe road hazard( shows p/s in red on dash) dash lights vsc and traction control intermittently light up and go away. Obviously it Is a hazard if the steering locks up when driving. Lexus oem alloy wheels chipping, not a hazard but cosmetic and disappointing.

Wheel problem #3

I purchased a vehicle from empire auto sales now known as car queens. I applied for tags for this car over a year ago. Now my registration Is expired and I'm now finding out that I bout a salvage car that has been totaled out through a insurance company. Which Is fine but the dealer failed to have the car inspected for safety purposes to get a rebuilt title. I am now told that it Is illegal to drive this car! the dealer refuses to talk to me about this situation. I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to ask for help but if not can you please advise me on who to talk too! I just want my family to be safe on the highways. I called jackson ms car title and registration and they agreed that it's a problem with the title for this car! also I was told by an employee of car queens that the owner Is selling cars without properly clearing the titles or having the salvage vehicle properly inspected. This incident started January 2019 and still to this day!.

Wheel problem #4

I was driving my car when all of a sudden the sensor advised me my coolant was low as I looked over to my left shoulder I notice smoke coming out before it caught fire. Looks like the main source of the fire was an electrical Issue that generated the wheel cover and bumper to start ignoring faster.

Wheel problem #5

There Is a dangerous pothole eastbound on lie near fresh meadows exit. Due to heavy traffic, the pothole was unavoidable as we were less than 20 feet between the car ahead of us. The pothole was on the middle lane. It resulted in a flat, a tow, and a brand new tire replacement.

Wheel problem #6

I would like to report a problem with my Lexus Is300 models 2002. There Is some type of defect in the frame or front arm bushings that cause excessive wear on the front inner tires. Despite the car being regularly aligned, uneven and excessive tire wear continues to occur on the inner portion of the tires. Tires will sometimes last less than 5,000 miles and have worn down to the steel in the inner sides of the front tires! this Is a common occurrence and complaint among Is 300 owners. As far as I know, there has been no fix from Lexus and will lead to potential blowouts on the freeway due to tire failures. This condition Is unacceptable. Therefore I am requesting an investigation and recall to fix the problem before a fatality occurs due to the resulting tire failure because of the front suspension defect.
