Front suspension (shock absorber) uneven wear and bouncy, some vibration on the steering wheel at about 30k miles, on highway exit round about circle, the vehicle swerves left or right. Very unsafe. Long story short, drop it off at the dealership Lexus of pembroke pines FL, they said the Issue was my tires and it needed to be replace, I rotated the tires rear tires went to the front and front to the back, no vibration, noise went away while driving, how ever about 10k miles later the uneven wear bouncing and noise came back while driving, disappointed how the Lexus of pembroke pines handle my concern, I took my vehicle to germain Lexus of naples FL, I explained the problem with the suspension and they charged me to diagnosed the problem, charged me for an alignment, that adjustments were the same, before and after and told me, I needed new tires and it will cost me $1600 and my the Issue will go away, disappointed with that experience, I took the vehicle to the local shop and I was told that the shock absorber was the problem and it will only get worst unless I replace the shocks. Disappointed with how 2 dealerships give excuses not to replace or fix the problem while under warranty but expect the customer to spend money not to fix the problem Is ridiculous, and in the end, the vehicle still unsafe while driving. Front struts need a recall. Someone will loose control and crash due to the front shocks.

Front suspension does not have adjustable camber. The wheels have a negative camber that Is outside of Lexus specification. This causes a very large uneven wear inside of tire, which Is not noticeable from the exterior of car. Owners will be unaware, when checking the tires, that the inside of tire Is worn to a point that can cause the tire to burst. Car was sent to the dealer, and they confirm that the negative camber Is present and there Is no fix because camber can't be adjusted. There Is no warning lights or symptoms prior to failure. Vehicle suspension Is not modified with non-Toyota approved equipment.

I was driving back to los angeles from a trip to san francisco, half way to los angeles. My transmission breaks down . I was going at about 90+mph , so I immediately had to get to the right hand side of the highway , it was definitely dangerous and the outcome could of been worse.

Hi ! so I have 2006 Is250 with carbon buildup , I was driving find I stop at a stop light car turn off out of nowhere I turn off power then try to restart. I had a hard time trying to start the car . You have to push gas pandel . . I told to my car to glendale Lexus , they told me that I have carbon buildup so somehow I end up paying 800 for major tune up.
My main concern Is that the hid headlights will not work. Initially the problem began on the passenger side headlight. Then I researched the problem and discovered it Is actually extremely common online. In my area many Lexus cars from Is250 to GS have the similar problem. The situation escalated when my driver's side headlight stopped lighting also. This really Is unsettling because I now have extremely low visibility at night and in addition I commute to school through a dark unlighted corner that could lead to a crash if the other car does not see me. I did contact Lexus but their resolution seems rather foul play. Most of their Is250 and GS have the problem but they would fix it only for about 1,000 dollars per headlight. I and multiple other consumers are not just going to pay for the high price for something clearly at Lexus's fault. Along with the headlights my suspension seem increasingly loud and squeaky when I make a turn. It Is a luxury car and being it I believe the problem should not have occurred. It should be rather quiet. I truly, am a displeased customer and I feel that Lexus Is very unresponsive toward their problems.

The front tires are wearing out faster on the inside (camber) than the rest of the tire. The dealer Lexus (is300) said that's the way the manufacturer made it . I was never told this would happen when I bought the vehicle.
