One problem related to side/rear glass has been reported for the 2001 Lexus IS300. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver's side front window glass bolts loose. Glass separates from regulator. Glass doesn't fit into window frame causi ng cracking sound and activating the child safety feature automatically reversing closure. Glass can break presenting safety hazard. Problem continuous.
