Other Fuel System Problems of Lexus IS350

[xxx] numerous times I've cleaned the area and it continues to build mold. A serious health and safety hazard. Foul odor from their vehicle smells like a fuel leak. Also car sputtering while driving. Loud engine noise when at idle. Dealerships told me injectors are loud on all Is350 fsports. Noise is ridiculous and cannot be normal. Its had the same noise since we purchased with 20000miles and it now has 57000 and noise is louder.

I am in fear of my life and any others passengers I may have riding in my car. I think smelling fuel from inside my car and it's very noticeable after I have drove from 1 location to the next. I did have all my recalls completed by local dealership including the fuel delivery pipes. However there is also 3 separate issues for this recall . The recall letter states do not drive your vehicle if you smell fuel and contact your Lexus dealership immediately. I did contact my dealership & they said they don't smell fuel. I smell it and my passengers smell fuel but the smell of gas occurs most of the time I driven from 1 another and when I took it to Lexus and it had it checked it sat all night and of course they won't smell it.

The contact owns a 2014 Lexus is 350. On several occasions, while driving, the contact noticed a sulfur odor in the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to hennessy Lexus of atlanta (5955 peachtree industrial blvd, atlanta, GA 30341 (770) 457-6800) where it was diagnosed that the fuel needed to be changed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken back to hennessy Lexus of atlanta where the dealer stated that screws were missing by the exhaust and a small amount of sulfur was noticed in the vehicle. The contact was advised that the odor was normal. While driving, the accelerator pedal was depressed to increase the speed and the sulfur odor became stronger. As a result, the contact became ill and had to pull the vehicle over to vomit. The vehicle was then taken to hennessy Lexus of gwinnett (3383 satellite blvd, duluth, GA 30096 (770) 680-1000) where it was also diagnosed that the fuel needed to be changed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and stated that the issue was a fuel change. The contact was then advised to get a second opinion. The approximate failure mileage was 58,000.

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Lexus Is350. The contact stated when the vehicle either parked or driving , there was a strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the upper fuel rail was leaking and needed replacement along with the injector seals. The repairs have not been completed at this time as the contact wanted a second opinion. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 09v020000 (engine and engine cooling). The manufacture was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown. Aa.

In a traffic light about to make a left, when lights turned green it accelerated normally until speed was at 25-30mph its stopped there. Will only rev up to 2000 rpm would change gears but in its own desired time . Pulled over turn off the car turned it back on same happnd. Engine light went on and frm there it would run the same accelerate normally and remain in aflactuating speed of 2-30mph until now Lexus of las vegas will not aknowledge elf recall stating my car is not included in their list. Will not honor all paperwork from this website. Spoke to justin and I will now take my car home because they were insisting for me to pay to the amount of 2098 just for the high pressure pump excluding labor. Car performed well without any warnings other than the gas smell which at first we all just did not mind after checking if gas door is completely lock. Please help.

Fuel line failed, causing fumes and potential fire/explosion hazard. Lexus dealership and corporate has been notified, but refused to issue recall despite issuing recall on other associated parts. Fule line replaced by Lexus: part 75880.

There was a fuel smell in the front engine area and cabin of my car - dangerous and obvious risk of fire - the vehicle was taken to Lexus of clear lake who has stated the leak is directly from my top fuel rail and has nothing to do with the recalls on the fuel system one in particular coming out that is due to "anti corrosion plating remnants causing the fuel pressure sensure to leak" how could the potential leaks or causes of them not effect the rail as well if its causing deterioration or "degrading" of other components in the fuel system - this part breaking down is a definite fire hazard and safety concern that should be looked at. Due to the safety issue and concern of driving the car elsewhere to have the vehicle diagnosed was 450. 00 to even see if it was related to the recall at which time it was found the fuel rail itself was faulty and leaking with a now bill of 1000. 00.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the diagnosis was undetermined. The most recent visit to the dealer it was diagnosed that the carbon build up is causing accessive oil consumption and the direct fuel ejection technology needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown. Ak.

Vsc light comes on randomly and sometimes stays on for days. Abs light comes on with it and check engine light. Very unsafe when it happens I have been turning and the traction will cut out. Because of this issue we do not drive the car in the rain.
