Two problems related to speed control cable have been reported for the 1999 Lexus LS400. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The throttle sensor failed causing the vehicle to suddenly stop while driving or causing it to start but the car would not rev when depressing the accelerator, the consumer was told that the grease from the throttle cable assembly can migrate down onto the throttle sensor interfering with its operation.
