2007 Lexus Ls460 has a visibility problem with the back window. The consumer stated the dealer told him to use the video system to see what was behind him when backing up. The navigation system did not show the middle street when the exact address was not known.
A few months ago I started noticing that the dashboard of my car was getting shiny. I thought it was just some substance that I could wipe off but found it was very sticky and deteriorating. While driving on the highway this week the reflection was bad enough to cause a distraction, enough that as soon as I got home I searched the internet for what I could do to fix it. I thought mine was an isolated case but found several articles indicating that this is happening to many others as well. While I personally don't expect the manufacturer to shoulder 100% of the burden for the repair, I did want to register my case as it seemed that the manufacturers were not acknowledging this as a common problem in the hopes that they would agree to a formula to address the cost rather than everyone having to negotiate the share of cost individually.
