Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 2010 Lexus LS460. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I am experiencing an anti lock brakes actuator failure. Upon starting the vehicle it gives the warning "stop the vehicle and contact a dealer". The extended warranty is limited by mileage and years. Being a key safety component in vehicle operation, I am requesting this issue be converted into a recall.
The contact owns a 2010 Lexus Ls460. The contact stated that as the ignition was started, the vehicle abnormally accelerated without warning. The contact mentioned that the brakes failed to stop the vehicle and as a result, he crashed into a tree. The vehicle was declared destroyed. A police report was filed and no one was injured. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was unknown.
