On sat. , sept. 14, 2019 about 7:35am while my daughter was driving my 2015 Lexus Ls460 the brakes came on and jerk her forward & backward, the seatbelt almost strangled her. Also brake light flashed orange & beeping. She went to urgent care to been evaluated. Took the car to chantilly va Lexus service found nothing wrong with the car. On wed. , sept. 18, 2019 about 3:15pm the orange brake light & beeping came on again this time I was in the car with my daughter. On thur. , sept. 19, 2019 took the car to alexandria va Lexus service & they kept the car for 2 days found nothing wrong with the car. Tues. , sept. 24, 2019 the orange brake light & beeping came on again, and I was in the car with my daughter.
This is a whistleblowing complaint against Toyota motor corporation so please re-direct my communications as appropriate. After I pointed out to Lexus corporate in writing their car seat installation instructions in the owners manual for the Ls460 was incorrect they acknowledged it was incorrect and advised me to strap my child's car seat in a different way. This is all documented in email. This communication took place approximately 5 months ago. They are required to notify all owners of the incorrect car seat installation instructions in the manual but they have not. I am a registered owner of my Lexus Ls460 so would have received a communication regarding the correct child car seat installation instructions if they notified anybody. I am concerned for the safety of the children of other Lexus Ls460 owners. I also retained two messages on my home answering machine that corporate Lexus left me regarding the car seat installation discussion as evidence of our verbal discussion to support the emails.
On febuary 9th at approxmately 10am I experienced a sudden acceleration problem on my 2007 lexxus 460l car. The car acclerated out of my control, in reverse, in to a cement pillar in an underground parking lot. I then put the car in drive and it acclerated even faster in to a cement wall. This was reported immediately to the dealer lexxus of bellevue wash as well as lexxus USA on two seperate occasions.
