I own a Lexus Lx600; when I stop the car, it is still in the drive or reverse position( or mode), then press the engine button, and the engine will turn off. So, if you are parking a car uphill it is very dangerous; with no warning and no safety mechanism, the car starts rolling, and the driver can be in the middle of getting out, I explained to the dealer, and they verbally explained to me how the Lexus Lx600 was designed. It is very dangerous, and someday, one can lose one's life because the law allows it. This should be prohibited by law. My old Honda pilot 2013, that have this future.
