I received notice over a year ago that the engine in my Lexus was defective and failure could cause damage, injury or death because the engine would seize up. We drive in rural areas, often outside of cell service. We are [xxx] and to be stranded, especially at night, would be very dangerous. I have made several calls to dealers and Lexus in plano, and no one is willing to do anything about the problem they have created. They offer nothing. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Vibration felt in the vehicle when vehicle is put into drive but stopped. I have replaced all motor mounts, all exhaust mounts, throttle body and sensor (one assembly), engine coils, fuel injectors, air filter, pcv valve.
