Airbag �off indicator stays on constantly. Have received a recall notice from Lexus saying it is a seat belt tension sensor and to be patient while they prepare a remedy for this condition. The light came on one day and has remained on since.
Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Lexus Lx570. The contact when starting the ignition, the air bag malfunction warning light was illuminated. The contact stated the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 18v887000 (air bags, seat belts) on August of 2019 but continue to experience the failure. The contact stated he also had the front driver side air bag replaced. The vehicle was taken to local dealer Lexus of marin located at 513 francisco blvd e, san rafael, CA 94901, (415) 326-7419, where it was diagnosed with needing wiring harness to be replace.
