Service Brakes problem #1

Takata recall - my air bag never deployed on impact. As I was braking to park outside my garage door, the car suddenly accelerated extremely fast. My Lexus went through the garage door and I was braking but my SUV didn't stop until it hit things in the garage that stopped me. I even plowed into a piece of equipment that went out the back wall of the garage.

While being serviced for brakes for 3rd time , dealer noticed torn/leaking rt front boot. Appears to be a major problem with this car. $15 part, $475 labor. Fortunately this was covered due to 3rd party extended warranty but with the number of complaints and TSB's on this issue, the dealer should have covered. This negligence shouldnt happen on a premium brand, this will be our last Lexus.

Service Brakes problem #3

The contact owns a 2009 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that while traveling various speeds, the vehicle failed to respond to deceleration attempts and caused the contact to crash into the preceding vehicle. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where the failure could not be diagnosed. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The failure mileage and VIN was not available.

After a routine oil change and maintenance service at 94,000 I was informed that the power steering rack and pinion needs replacement for a fee of $1854, plus brake pad and replacement and resurfacing of the rear rotors for $385. I found no evidence of oil leakage on the garage floor.

2009 Lexus RX 350. Consumer states problems with vehicle brakes the consumer stated the brakes would vibrate when he/she reached a high speed. The vehicle was taken taken to the dealer and fixed free of charge. However, 5,000 miles later the problem returned.

I own a 2009 Lexus RX 350. When I am driving on a bumpy road and apply the brakes the car will not stop. They act like you are going into a skid. Shortly after purchasing the car I reported the problem to Lexus. They keep assuring me that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. I have been lucky enough to avoid several near serious accidents . I have had to jump curbs on several occasions. I have rolled into the middle of intersections with cars coming at me in all directions.
