Seat Belt problem #1

On March 17,2020 when buckling my driver side seat belt, the female end that is suppose to be bolted into place was only attached by wires. I looked under the seat and found washer and nut on the floor. My son helped me reattach the parts together. On Monday, I made appointment with the wilde Lexus of sarasota. They reinstalled the driver side seat belt buckle and retorqued it. I was told by the costumer service representative at wilde Lexus that it may have worked it's way lose or it was installed improperly at factory. Either way, I feel this is a serious safety hazard. I would like to know that this car and other Lexus Rx350 would not have seat belts failing.

Seat Belt problem #2

Vehicle current mileage is 32k apprx garage kept. Front passenger belt locks frequently. Also the steering got hard. No leaking of any sort of oil too. Currently the vehicle is being used but scared if steering motion would freeze.

Seat Belt problem #3

The pre-collision system was unexpectedly activated for no apparent reason. Travelling on the interstate in light traffic on a clear, sunny afternoon, the car brakes suddenly activated, seat belts clinched with no warning sound. This has happened twice in the last year (coincidentally, it occurred at the same area on the interstate). The car was taken, both times, after the incident for inspection at the dealer. The service department was not able to replicate the issue or find any problems. For me, this is a serious safety concern. Sudden unexpected severe braking could result in a major rear-end collision.

Seat Belt problem #4

Abs/seatbelt warning light is flashing. Mechanic says 'drivers side airbag squib needs replacing.

Seat Belt problem #5

Was pulling into parking spot at the rear of mcdonalds', stepped on the brakes when I suddenly felt a thud. The car rolled back, and the seat belt locked. After a while I managed to do that, walked to the gas station across the street.

Seat Belt problem #7

Seat belt in the back passenger side not working. Cracked dash board.

Seat Belt problem #8

I was stopped turning right form one city street onto another city street when I was hit from behind. The airbag did not deploy nor did the seat belt stop me from careening forward in the seat causing my head to hit the steering wheel. I received a cut over my right eye from the impact.

Seat Belt problem #9

Collision with another vehicle. Lexus driver's seat belt did not restrain driver and airbag blew open allowing driver to impact steering wheel hard enough to sustain a fractured sternum and chest wall injury.

Seat Belt problem #10

My wife was driving car after picking kids up from school. During driving my 8y/o daughter disconnected rear seat belt to reach down and pickup a dropped toy. Seat belt retracted around my daughters neck choking her. My stopped car and tried to get belt to release. It just got tighter around my daughters throat. Police were called by cell phone and had to cut belt to release it from my daughters neck.
