Complaint to eric koolenga at Lexus of palm beach was a crumbling dashboard that is accumulating an unidentified white powder around the broken edges. Case #1803071634 at Lexus, I spoke with daniel m, case manager who told me Lexus will not investigate this because the dash replacement was a warrantee enhancement and not a safety issue. It is my impression that an unknown substance, possibly a sublimating airbag chemical, is exuding into the passenger compartment is indeed a safety issue. I do not know if this material is either toxic or flammable.
