Interior front reading lights turn on and off randomly when driving and when not driving. This is incredibly distracting especially at night.

My vehicle’s camera system, including the backup camera, is experiencing an issue where the passenger-side camera fails to display properly, showing only a blank black area. I have reported this issue to my dealership for future inspection. It is not yet clear whether the problem persists during daylight hours; however, it poses a significant safety risk at night when visibility is already limited. The loss of the passenger-side camera view creates a blind spot that could increase the likelihood of an accident or injury.
The "auto" mode on my sync screen on my 2021 Lincoln Aviator does not always automatically switch between day and night based on ambient light levels. This is a blinding experience at night when the screen doesn't switch to night mode and the brightness is intense. This blinding screen makes it hard to see outside when it is dark which could lead to an accident. My dealer says I have the most up to date version of sync for my vehicle and there is no fix for this problem.
We have been experiencing multiple electrical and mechanical issues with our brand new 2025 Lincoln Aviator since we bought it approximately 4 months ago. The car frequently fails to start, with at least ten or more instances of this problem. We have taken it to the dealership two or three times, but despite their claims that the issue has been fixed, the problem recurs within a week or two from picking the car up from the dealer. There was a time when the car has shut off while stopped at a traffic light, and when the light turns green, it won’t restart. In some cases, it has taken anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours before the car would finally start again. Additionally, various warning signals appear on the dash cluster, including alerts about the emergency brakes and collision warning system not functioning properly. Additionally, we experienced issues where the car doors won't open right away due to this mechanical issue. This is a serious safety hazard, as the car shutting off unexpectedly in traffic puts us at significant risk. It is especially concerning because this is our family vehicle, and we frequently travel with two infants in car seats and our elderly parents. Despite multiple visits to the dealership, the issue persists. We even reached out to the parent company, Lincoln/Ford, and they essentially told us that there is nothing they can do, this is a "known issue with the 2025 Lincoln Aviator". After researching online, we found that other 2025 Lincoln Aviator owners have reported similar electrical and mechanical problems. We are extremely concerned for our safety and fear that this issue could lead to a serious accident. However, this is our only vehicle, leaving us with no alternative but to continue driving it despite the risks. Please note, as I type this message, we have an appointment this week to drop the car off again for service.

1- abs/braking issue the abs system appears to be malfunctioning. On multiple occasions, typically once or twice a week, when I apply the brakes, the tires lock up and cause the vehicle to skid. This happens most often when descending hills or backing up on a sloped driveway. The wheels lock and slide until I release the brake pedal, posing a serious safety concern. 2- severe water leak interior roof area there is a significant water leak from the interior roof, specifically from the top center area near the rearview mirror, every time it rains. I’ve taken the vehicle to the dealer multiple times. They confirmed that all drain tubes are clear, all seals are functioning properly, and no water appears to be entering from the sliding moonroof. However, the issue persists. Water pours down like a waterfall through the vent (as shown in the attached photo), soaking the center console and creating an unsafe driving condition. I have also recorded videos showing the water intrusion. Living in guam, where it rains frequently, this has become a major problem. 3- malfunctioning interior ceiling light the ceiling light on the driver's side (center dome light) turns on randomly and often remains on until manually switched off. The dealer has inspected this issue but reported no faults found. Despite this, the problem continues to occur intermittently. 4- rear camera display issue when shifting into reverse, the monitor occasionally turns completely blue, and the backup camera does not function. The blue screen remains until the vehicle is turned off and restarted. This happens sporadically and disrupts safe maneuvering.

When starting the car at night, the center display will run at full daytime brightness until the driver manually presses one of the up/down display/interior brightness control buttons. Once pressed, the system "realizes" that it's night time and adjusts accordingly. Having the display at full brightness at night is a safety hazard for drivers unaware that you can use the brightness control buttons as a workaround. My local dealership says this is "normal" behavior.
The map light on the front passenger side would intermittently turn on while driving. This was concerning at night as it was quite distracting. It required driver intervention when operating the vehicle alone and limited visibility in the cabin at night while driving.

The lights on the visor mirrors and the garage door opener located on the visor stopped working. 2 days later, all of the switches on the drivers door ( window controls and mirror adjustments) stopped working. Now the dome lights have stopped working. The dealership had the car for a week and performed a master reset and a ddm configuration and window learn procedure. None of these problems were resolved. Dealership states vehicle will have to be scheduled when a repair is made available. While most of these problems are merely an inconvenience, I feel there is a safety issue due to the fact that I have no emergency egress. The Lincoln concierge told me I can "just crawl over the console and go out one of the other windows. " I can also not adjust the mirrors after a seat adjustment, which is also a safety concern. The dealership said I will have to make a manual adjustment until a fix is made available. There have been no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the failure which happened 4 weeks ago. The dealership is liberty Ford in canton OH. Ro number 797409. Lincoln case number 33186048-p8g5j5.
The radio screen at night will not dim/switch to night mode and it's a bright spotlight in your face while driving. This is blinding and dangerous. I believe this is a software glitch and I don’t believe Lincoln is in a hurry to fix it unless the NHTSA steps in like they did for the back up camera issue. In my photos I’m including you can see it is night with the headlights on yet the screen is in daytime mode almost washing out the camera lens due to it’s brightness. I’m also including a link to reform or discussions are picking up about this issue. As it is not just me noticing this. Https://lincolnforums. Com/forums/threads/%e2%80%9cnight%e2%80%9d-display-background-bug. 40837/#post-733751 for comparison I included one photo with green highlights to show what night mode is supposed to look like when it works.
Lincoln Aviators 2020-2024 using the sync 3 radio screen. Have a issue not switching to dimmed/night mode during night time driving. This is a major safety issue because when driving a night you have a super bright display inches from your eyes creating a blinding issue at night. This issue has been reported by many folks, a simple google search will reveal this. Unless NHTSA steps if to doing something 10s of thousands Lincoln Aviators 2020-2024 are on the road with blinded drivers. On delivery of the vehicle (6/5/2020), there was an error message on the console indicating an issue with a door lock sensor (according to the dealer). The dealership had the car for 3 days to make the repair. On 6/26/2020, we reported to the dealership that the front passenger door lock was not working and the button to open the door was inoperable. Today, 6/29/2020, the auto is completely dead. Apparently, the electrical issue drained the battery. This is a safety issue. What are we to do if we cannot get out of the car. Inoperable door opening buttons is dangerous. Further, when the car was parked in my driveway, it suddenly and on its own began flashing lights and the mirrors retracted some 15 minutes after we used the remote to lock the car.
The vehicle down shift when turning into the first as it goes into second makes in awful noise. When I parked it and tried to start it and it was dead. The mechanic figure it had something to do with the starter he got under the vehicle to applied starter told me to start it and it did and it pinned him under the vehicle. They later said the belt had popped. The vehicle had ben leaking a lite fluid they believed it to be the differential oil. Its a four wheel drive. I had it towed to bohn Ford 6/5/17they are charging 350. 00 to replace the belt. City st. Later park it at walmart parking lot where the people helped push the vehicle off the mechanic. The vehicle would roll back when put in drive.
