What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? the 2nd row seats have an electrical switch to slide and slightly fold the seat for entry to the 3rd row. This switch seems to get stuck and will randomly slide and tilt the seat forward while driving as well as while stationary. While driving, the seat can hit the back of the driver seat very hard and cause disorientation. The vehicle has not yet been reproduced or inspected by a dealer or other service center. The vehicle has not been inspected by manufacturer, police, insurance rep, or any other organization. There were no warnings or messages prior to failure, this car I purchased used and the symptom was presenter as soon as I drove off the lot.

Safety issue that occurs while driving that nearly caused me to drive off rd multiple times, has been reported by others on Lincoln forum & appears to be pervasive safety issue. 2nd row seat automatically folds down, moves up & slams into back of drivers seat, even while driving. Happened sev times, twice at night while on hwy doing 70mph. Had to pull off hwy, push seat back & relatch. 2 hrs later, it happened again. Previously, dealer looked at but couldn’t id cause. Now, tech reports button on top of 2nd row seat was stuck down even though it ‘looks’ like it’s not. Some have had dealer replace the button but after a few mos the new one gets stuck. Others report theirs is stuck down & since car’s out of warranty, they need to pay to fix it (to avoid an accident). Urging NHTSA to investigate as this is a significant safety concern.

My vehicle has heated seats. This week, when I was using the heated seats, I noticed a burning sensation on my left buttocks. I later discovered a burn hole in my seat (bottom left) and a matching burn on the coat I was wearing (bottom left). I am reporting this incident I because I believe there is a defect of the heated sweats in my vehicle that could lead to severe burns to passengers.

I purchased the auto on Aug 24, 2019. I have encountered 5 issues with the vehicle so far - 3 mechanical and 2, cosmetic. I'll focus on the mechanical. Beside the pending recall, I am experiencing the following: 1) the passenger seat in front row lacks the motor for the massage function. Lincoln has now taken over 2 months to repair due to lack of part. 2) the electrical parking brake comes on while driving occasionally. 3) the vehicle camera gets distorted when switching car on. Happened twice, last time it happened was a week ago 11/12.
