One problem related to cruise control has been reported for the 1999 Lincoln Continental. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving used cruise control while proceeding down hill, and vehicle accelerated faster than set speed. Dealer has been notified; however, has not found a remedy for consumer's concern. On a 6 percent grade vehicle will increase speed 10 mph in the cruise mode in less than a mile.
