The contact owns a 2001 Lincoln Ls. The contact stated that while traveling 25 mph, a loud noise was heard and the seat belts seized abnormally. The contact also stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated prior to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
Seat belts made popping noise while driving and froze up. Not able to pull down. Air bag warning light stays on. Both happened within days of each other.
